Results from Interop Survey

Another long and exhausting day at Interop.  The Riverbed booth continued to be swamped with IT folks interested in finding out more about WAN optimization and application acceleration.

We asked folks that watched our demo to fill out a brief survey, which ranks on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being highest) the importance of application performance for their branch offices, data centers, or mobile workers.  After approximately 500 completed surveys, the scores were:

8.2 out of 10 for branch office application performance
8.0 out of 10 for data center application performance
7.8 out of 10 for mobile worker application performance

As you can see, the 500 folks we surveyed see application performance important for all corners of their infrastructure.  While the sample is relatively small, this is a good data point that when you are looking to address application performance issues, you need a solution that accelerates the branch office, data center, and mobile worker environment.
